CHICKASAW CANOEING


The best of the Flint River. Just 7 miles east of Huntsville. There are two courses, the upper & the lower. The water is deep enough, and there is a clear path all the way down. The upper course is great for small children. The lower course is a bit more adventurous.

Please call in advance, preferably two days or more, to make appointments. Call Gary on weekdays at 256-379-3513 & weekends or if no answer at 256-682-1561. The last launch is at Noon for the upper course & four hours before sunset for the lower course. On weekdays, you must rent no less than 2 canoes & make an appointment
